　Prof. Hugo Partsch教授が2023年1月26日に、ご逝去されたことをご報告させていただきます。
　日本静脈学会（JSP）は、私たちの恩師であるPartsch教授のご逝去に深い哀悼の意を表します。 Partsch教授は何度も来日し、日本の圧迫療法の教育と研究に大きく貢献されました。 先生の友情と、そして学問・教育に対する献身に心から感謝いたします。これからも、天国から故平井正史先生と共に我々を見守っていただけるようにお願い致します。

In memoriam of Prof. Hugo Partsch
1938-2023

The Japanese Society of Phlebology (JSP) would like to express our deepest condolences on the passing of Prof. Partsch, our mentor. Prof. Partsch has visited Japan many times and contributed significantly to the education and research of compression therapy in Japan. We sincerely thank you for his kindness and dedication. May his soul rest in peace with the late Dr. Masafumi Hirai, who was our committee’s founder.
